  1. What a glorious image!! All that track!! Trust you to have been there, John. You’ve been everywhere else. :o )
    Not easy to recognize the area these days.

  2. Amazing photo!

    Almost all of the track in this picture is still in place, the 2′nd track to right of the train is missing, and it narrows to three tracks crossing the road. The entire complex was modernized in later years to send out “unit trains” which CSX continued to do a few times a year into 2005/6 – could load a full unit train in about 1-2 days.
