CN L540 is approaching Mill Street in Kitchener on the Huron Park Spur in early morning light. Powering the train are 4726, GMTX 2255 and 4761. GP38-2 4726, with its unique number-board, was set-off by the previous night’s A431. L540 would set-off all its cars at the interchange with Canadian Pacific and return light power back to the Kitchener yard. As a side note, to the very right is the Iron Horse Trans Canada Trail, which was once a section of CP's Waterloo Subdivision and saw it's last train in July 1993.

  1. Nice shot Jason! This is quite the engine…probably the most worse for wear of the fleet. Definitely a different story last year at this time.

  2. Thanks Kevin.
