GEXR 584(?) trundles north towards Clinton from Exeter under lake-effect flurry conditions, as the sun tried to poke out, muted by all the blowing snow and snowsqualls. Power was 3030-2303. Mr. Host and I were out this day photographing this run and got plenty of shots. This was a rather snowy and cold December. It seems we have yet to see another December like the one in 2016.

  1. That’s GEXR 581, or if on a weekend it might’ve been GEXR 518, or an x581(extra)

Great pic Kevin, you guys certainly braved the cold that day!

  2. @RLK2211: Thank you. Definitely needed snow pants for that day!

  3. I see that the air intakes are covered to keep the snow out. They probably learned to do that the hard way.

  4. Both units are lettered for GEXR too. I sure miss 3030. Great work Kevin!
