It seems that during tomato season – September – service was daily, every afternoon, other months perhaps ‘as needed’.

DANG….nice shot! That train looks like it ‘came out of nowhere’ since the growth crowds the right of way. Those high nosed GP9′s were nice. Just adds to the branchline feel of service.
I know this line was ripped out a long time ago, but one of the crossings near Heinz was in place as late as 2012…
