Almost...... a nearly completely matching VIA 84 is eastbound at Mosborough Ontario in the smart Canadian 150th scheme on a perfect, not too hot, cloudless day. There is only one business-class car in the VIA wrap so a matching train will be difficult to come by.

  1. Very nice, Stephen. Well done.

  2. Great capture Stephen!

  3. Nice…but in one place you said “85″. I think it’s definitely 84 (which you mentioned in your description). It would be nice if the wrapped F40 is on 85 since they use the same engine many consecutive days in a row. From my understanding 87/84 have different engines all the time but usually always LRC coaches. Unlike VIA 83 which is almost always a P42 and stainless steel coaches.

  4. Kevin, wrapped locomotives are a dime a dozen, most of the P42 fleet is now wrapped..

It’s the business class car that’s rare – there is only one.

  5. And Thanks gents for kind comments. This is the future of our trains for now…. for at least two years :)

  6. VERY nice indeed. This wrap looks a helluva lot better than it does on those P42s, which, in my opinion are ugly now matter how ya dress’em. Right on the money photo!

  7. Nice Shot Stephen!

  8. I agree, the F40′s are my favourite of the wraps. Thanks again gents!
