 …..fortunately freight traffic – at that time - was nil......


…..fortunately VIA operates frequent daily eastbound service....


….. fortunately VIA trains – in that era -  operated with extra equipment to handle last minute ticket sales....


…..fortunately  VIA #56  BONAVENTURE, is scheduled 45 minutes after #66....


….fortunately....and ironically,  VIA #56  powered by:  three  M L W  's  !  ( that pic to be posted )


...oh my ! BUT it was a really nice Sunday for a picnic...
