John, do you recall who ran this trip? I know of the Kitchener Kiwanis Club running the “Sugarbush Express” from Kitchener to Elmira in the early 70s, and a few UCRS trips with regular CN equipment from Toronto.
Jacob, think it might have been Ontario Rail Association that operated this trip. Reviewing Upper Canada Railway Society newsletters published at that time, there is no mention of the UCRS running this train. By 1977 I was no longer a UCRS member but was an ORA member, and that is probably why I was on this special, John
