Goderich-Exeter Railway train 582 with LLPX 2236 arrives in Kitchener from Guelph, where it will set-off it's entire train. Canary 2236 was eventually painted into G&W orange and lettered GEXR 2123 at the Diesel Electric Services facility in Sudbury and was quickly assigned to the Ottawa Valley Railway (OVR). Time will tell if GEXR 2123 will ever make it's way back home.

A Goderich-Exeter Railway (GEXR) employee watches as train 431 slowly trundles down the siding by the VIA Rail station in Kitchener on a warm spring afternoon. Powering the train is big GEXR SD45T-2 3054, GEXR SD40-2 3394 and RLHH SD40-2 3403.

CP 8229 and a sister lead the Hamilton Turn up Orr’s Lake hill, west of Galt at Mile 59 on CP’s Galt Subdivision. At that time, during a usual afternoon on the line, one could witness, train 141, which was the Sprint frame train, T69 (the Pick-Up) and the Hamilton Turn (525) as well as a couple mainline trains.

Goderich-Exeter Railway (GEXR) train 580 with GEXR GP38-3 2073 and GEXR GP39-2u 2303 is seen approaching Queen Street in Kitchener on the Huron Park Spur on June 6, 2018. The train is returning to the Kitchener yard with several cars lifted from the interchange with Canadian Pacific.

Goderich-Exeter Railway train 584 curves through Uptown Waterloo crossing the intersection of Erb and Caroline Streets under the newly installed light rail equipment as it heads north towards Elmira.

Canadian Pacific M-636 4721 is awaiting departure at Agincourt yard in Toronto during Easter weekend 1995. After being un-retired by CP, the veteran MLW was given a blanked-out cab until it was eventually retired for good later in 1995.

A loaded southbound Canadian Pacific Herzog ballast train is diverging off the CN Bala Subdivision at Boyne Junction and getting back on home rails on Canadian Pacific's Parry Sound Subdivision at Reynolds. Powering the train is an all GMD-consist that included; GP38-2 3042 and SD40-2 6062.

There was an abundance of yellow in an extremely weedy Kitchener yard as Goderich-Exeter Railway train 582 with LLPX 2236 sets-off cars while Waterloo Central Railway GE 70-Tonner 1556 is between assignments in the background.

Goderich-Exeter Railway (GEXR) train 584 with LLPX 2236 is exiting Waterloo Park and approaching Seagram Drive in Waterloo in the fading light of a spring evening. This area has changed dramatically with the installation of the ION light rail network, which is set to officially begin operations on June 21, 2019.
